RUSNANO (The Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies) was established in 2007 to promote Russian nanotechnology, and co-invests in industry projects that have strong commercial potential or social benefit. This press release from June 2009 announces that RUSNANO and Japan's Ministry of Economy have agreed to set up a joint nanotechnology interaction workgroup. During RUSNANO's visit to Japan, the two countries also discussed how to involve smaller companies in international cooperation and RUSNANO held consultations with major Japanese corporations. To further strengthen Russo-Japanese nanotechnology relations, RUSNANO has invited Japanese industry and leaders to the Second Moscow Nanotechnology International Forum, currently scheduled for October 6-8, 2009. |
