The Australian government created the Australian National Nanotechnology Taskforce with the goal of a coherent National Nanotechnology Strategy to establish a clear vision for the Australian nanotechnology industry. This Taskforce Report identifies options and recommendations for the implementation of such a strategy. Among the recommendations in this Report are the consolidation of research capabilities, the creation of a national business alliance, international marketing and cooperation, and the immediate establishment of agencies and funds for regulatory reform regarding health, safety, and environmental issues. |
